The NFL has made a decision and there will be a playoff game at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals, of course, did not make the postseason, but their stadium will host the wild card playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams Monday night.
The league announced the decision on Thursday.
It was moved in the interest of public safety with wildfires in Southern California. The game was supposed to be played at the Rams’ home stadium, SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood.
Tickets will go on sale at 1 p.m. ET (11 a.m. Arizona time) Friday morning through Seatgeek.com for the Rams’ season ticket holders. At 3 p.m. ET (1 p.m. Arizona time), the general public can purchase tickets.
The game kicks off Monday night at 8 p.m. ET and will air on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.
