Green appeared in all 12 of Arizona State’s games in the 2023 season and had a productive year as a leader on the defensive side of the ball for head coach Kenny Dillingham.
Green had 39 total tackles on the year and tied the team high in sacks with 6.0. for a loss of 39 total yards. Green also forced one fumble on the year with a team-high 11 quarterback hits. He was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team for the 2023 season. He was also a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, given to the most outstanding player to begin their career as a walk-on.
Green, originally from Atlanta, graduated from McEachern High School where he was ranked as a three-star recruit coming into college. Green earned his scholarship to Arizona State after an impressive freshman year where five of his eight total tackles went for sacks and led the team as a trued freshman, only the fourth time in program history for a freshman to do so.
