Menne won the tournament behind her 14-under while ASU won by 25 strokes
Lihu’e, Kaua’i, HI – For the second week in a row, the Sun Devils are packing hardware for the trip back to Tempe.
Arizona State women’s golf claimed its second win of the season, taking the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted at the Ocean Course Hokaula in Hawai’i by 25 strokes. This marked the lowest 54-hole tournament score vs par in program history as well as setting a new event record.

Ashley Menne won her first-ever individual championship after firing a 14-under 202. She now owns the best-ever 54-hole round score vs par in program history, breaking Brandie Burton’s 35-year-old record by two strokes.
Menne’s individual championship is the 16th under coach Missy Farr-Kaye (eight different golfers).
“Winning both as a team and individually this week in Hawaii has been a dream,” Menne, a senior, said. ”[I’m] happy to be able to see my game trending in the right direction especially after the injuries I have been battling these last few semesters. Excited to see where the rest of the semester takes us. Glad to be part of a historical week with this team.”

The Sun Devils lead from the opening round and fired the lowest score in the field for each of the three rounds. Coach Missy Farr-Kaye’s team broke the program’s previous 54-hole record by 17 strokes.
“I am so proud of this team and their resilience, grit, and belief in themselves,” she said. “They have been working really hard for these moments. I am really happy for them to get to celebrate this and be validated for how hard they have all been working.”
This was Farr-Kaye’s 18th team victory as coach.
Three Sun Devils placed in the top-5, while four of the five finished top-10.
1. Menne 14-under (69-64-69/202)
3. Rhodes 11-under (68-69-68/205)
5. Coulter 9-under (72-65-70/207)

Rhodes third place finish is the best of her ASU career. She was the only Sun Devil to shoot in the 60s in every round in an event this season and paced the team with six birdies.
Coulter notched her second top-5 finish, joining her runners-up finish at the 2023 Pac-12 Tournament.
ASU cracked its first win in two years at the Darius Ruckers Intercollegiate last week, and the back-to-back event wins bumped Farr-Kaye and her Sun Devils to No. 15 in the latest Clipp’d rankings.
