It’s been quite a few days on the recruiting front for Arizona State coach Bobby Hurley and his staff.
The Sun Devils landed two recruits in four days.
On Friday they landed a pledge from three-star power forward Jaden Smith and a day later, the Sun Devils added four-star Class of 2024 wing Amier Ali of Canyon International Academy (AZ).
“I will be taking my talents to Arizona State,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “Arizona State is the best fit for me because of coach Hurley and how he develops his players and coaches them. A big stand out to me was that and how much of a family culture it is down at ASU the hospitality was amazing.”

He added: “I bring shooting mainly because it is my best attribute, I bring versatility and being able to play the 1,2, and 3, and lastly I bring a high motor and defensive versatility including rebounding too.”
He plans to recruit others to Arizona State with him.
“As of right now I’m trying to bring Sammie Yeanay and Jahki Howard,” he said. “Hopefully they can join me!”
Howard is slated to visit Auburn this weekend.
