Jaden Smith, the 6-foot-11 center from Chicago (IL) Kenwood Academy and the Mac Irvin Fire AAU program, is closing in on announcing his top five schools and then announcing a college decision.
“I’m planning to make my decision by November,” he told ZAGSBLOG.
The NCAA Early Signing Period runs Nov. 8-15.
Smith visited Arizona State this past weekend.
“The ASU visit was great,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “It was a really fun experience, they believe I can be a versatile 4/5 offensively, and defensively that can help their program and on a personal level make it to the NBA/pros.”

During his tenure, the Mustangs compiled a 301-70 record, including two separate back-to-back IHSA Class 3A State Title runs in 2013-14 and 2017-18.
Smith has also visited Akron and Loyola-Chicago and will visit DePaul this weekend, he told ZAGSBLOG
