Koa Peat will play alongside him in McDonald’s All-American Game
Recently committed 5-star forward Koa Peat is in Brooklyn for the McDonald’s All-American game, where on Tuesday he’ll be the 24th Arizona recruit to play in the prestigious high school all-star contest.
A possible 25th future Wildcat, 5-star guard Brayden Burries, will also compete in the event, and Peat has made it known he’d like to be teammates next season.

Burries, a 6-foot-4 guard from San Bernardino, Calif., is one of the top uncommitted players in the 2025 recruiting class. He is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 11 overall recruit and recently cut his list down to five schools, with Arizona making the cut alongside Alabama, Oregon, Tennessee and USC.

Brayden Burries tells ESPN he will make his college decision in the next week or two.

Burries took his official visit to Arizona in February 2024 but UA coaches have since been in constant contact with him. If he picks the Wildcats it would give them multiple McDonald’s All-Americans for the fourth time in school history and first since Josh Green and Nico Mannion in 2019.
The McDonald’s All-American Game will be shown on ESPN at 6 p.m. PT Tuesday.
