Just as Arizona’s 2025 team begins preparations for next season during spring practice in Tucson, several of its top players from 2024 will be trying to impress NFL scouts in Texas.
Eight former Wildcats are scheduled to participate in the 2025 Big 12 Pro Day, which is set for March 18-21 in Frisco, Texas. The event is being held at The Star inside The Ford Center, the same place the Big 12 will hold its Football Media Days in July.
The following ex-UA players are scheduled to attend:
- OL Joey Capra
- RB Quali Conley
- RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt
- DB Owen Goss
- LS Justin Holloway
- WR Montana Lemonious-Craig
- OL Jonah Savaiinaea
- LB Jared Small
Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and kicker Tyler Loop, who along with Savaiinaea participated in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, were not among the 200-plus Big 12 players on the participation list. Nor was center Josh Baker or defensive linemen Kevon Darton, Lance Keneley and Stanley Ta’ufo’ou, the other seniors on Arizona’s 2024 roster.
Former Arizona receiver Dorian Singer, who finished his career at Utah after spending time at USC, is on the participant list.
Per a news release, nearly 300 NFL scouts will attend the event that will air on NFL Network. It will broadcast from the Pro Day on March 19 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT.
Arizona opens 2025 spring camp on Tuesday with the first of 15 practices. Each Saturday workout will be open to the public inside Arizona Stadium including the Spring Showcase on April 19.
