The vast majority of Arizona’s offseason roster building the past month has been focused on the NCAA transfer portal, but that’s not the only place from which it can acquire talent. The Wildcats have also pursued quite a few junior college prospects, and on Tuesday it added one to the 2025 recruiting class.
Cornerback Elijah Brown has committed to Arizona out of El Camino College in California. He will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-2, 184-pound Brown had a stellar season at El Camino, intercepting five passes in 10 games. He also had seven pass breakups, 38 tackles and recovered a fumble for the Warriors, which went 7-4.

Brown was a 3-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class out of Narbonne High School in Harbor City, Calif., but opted for JUCO over offers from Colorado State, UNLV, NAU and UC Davis.
He is Arizona’s 24th commitment in the 2025 class, fourth to pledge to the Wildcats since the Early Signing Period ended, but as a JUCO transfer he can sign up until Jan. 15 and be able to join the team for spring practice.
Counting both prep, JUCO and transfer portal pickups, Arizona has added seven cornerbacks this offseason. Sixth-year senior Treydan Stukes is the only returner who has started at the position for the Wildcats.
