The Arizona Wildcats have been focusing mostly on spring camp, with the final practice on tap for Saturday night. But throughout all of camp, the staff also had its focus on the lifeblood of college programs, the recruiting trail.
The ‘Cats have had numerous prospects on campus to check out the school, team and practice throughout the spring. One of those players just made his decision on what his future team will be.
On Saturday, 3-star Washington athlete Henry Gabalis announced his decision to commit to Arizona.
After many thoughts and conversations with my family I’m extremely excited to announce I have committed to the university of Arizona #BearDown @CoachBrennan @CoachJ_Miller @BrandonHuffman @Ryan_Clary_ @coachcroninamhs pic.twitter.com/BlQBeSnXhc

Gabalis, who plays at Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett, Washington, is a deceptively good athlete. He has very good speed for a 6-foot-5, 210 pound player. His long strides allow him to pick up speed quickly and fly past defenders. He does have some impressive agility as well for someone with is frame. His athleticism shines on defense where he plays safety and he is able to keep up with receivers downfield with ease.
Gabalis has eight reported offers and chose Arizona over Oregon State, Washington State, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, North Dakota and Sacramento State.
He doesn’t yet have a 247 Composite Ranking. However, 247Sports has him as a 3-star in their internal rankings. They place him as the No. 89 athlete and the 15th best player in Washington for the 2026 class.
Gabalis joins receivers Caleb Smith and Hamisi Juma and offensive lineman Michael Langi as the members of Arizona’s 2026 class on the offensive side of the ball. Overall he’s the fifth 2026 commit.
