Former UNLV signee
The Arizona Wildcats have been busy on the recruiting trail the past two-to-three weeks, sowing the seeds for the 2026-2028 classes. That doesn’t mean that the staff is done with the 2025 class…not by a long shot. With Signing Day right around the corner, Brent Brennan decided another addition was needed for the 2025 cycle.
Cornelius Warren, a 3-star running back from Texas, announced his commitment to Arizona Tuesday evening.

Cornelius Warren is a 5’10 (170 LBS) Running Back out of Fort Worth, TX. He has 15+ offers and chose Arizona over offers from Utah, Arizona State, Texas Tech, Ole Miss and more.… pic.twitter.com/z6jEILitPJ— Steezo (@SteezoDsgn) February 5, 2025
Warren, who played at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, brings a lot of speed to the field. He runs a 4.4 40-yd dash and it shows in his film, which you can see below. He is on the smaller size, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, but does show the ability to break arm tackles easily. He can also catch out of the backfield, making him a potentially dangerous weapon in Seth Doege’s offense.
Warren signed with UNLV in early December, however, he was released from his NLI after the coaching change there. Overall, he reported 16 offers and chose Arizona over other schools such as Baylor, Houston, Memphis, Miami, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Texas Tech and Utah.
He comes in as a 3-star prospect in both of 247’s ranking systems. In the Composite, 247 has him as the No. 818 player nationally, the No. 63 running back and the 112th best player in Texas. Internally, they have him as the 105th RB and the 179th best player in Texas.
Maxpreps does not have his complete senior season stats. Though, in 3 games, Warren racked up 350 yards on 47 carries and 4 scores. He also had nine yards on three catches.
