The Arizona Wildcats are continuing to work the recruiting trail, and on the field, evidenced by a 27-3 victory over the Houston Cougars on Friday night.
Early Saturday afternoon, Arizona received more positive news after Myron Robinson, a linebacker from Texas, announced his commitment to the ‘Cats for the 2025 class.

Robinson, who plays at East Central High School in San Antonio, is another multi-positional player in this class. As a running back, he’s a big, athletic runner. He has some wiggle and is able bust big runs at times. He’s actually more athletic than you’d think for someone who is 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds. Defensively, he is a little more raw and will need some more development. However, he’s still athletic. He lines up directly behind the Mike backer in the middle of the formation, kind of like a linebacker-safety hybrid. I like his ability to read the flow of a play and react quickly. It will be interesting to see how he develops in college as a linebacker.
Robinson had 11 reported offers when he committed to Arizona. He chose the ‘Cats over Washington State, Boston College, Houston, Georgia Tech, Tulane, UNLV, Wyoming, and San Diego State. He currently isn’t ranked by 247 internally nor in the Composite. I do expect that to change in the near-term.
You can view some of his offensive highlights and his mid-season defensive highlights below
Robinson gives Arizona 21 known commitments in the 2025 recruiting class, which can begin signing on Dec. 4, and seven of the prospects are from Texas. The UA’s class ranks 48th in the country, per 247Sports, and seventh in the Big 12.
