Former North Carolina guard Caleb Love has landed at Arizona.
Love, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound guard from St. Louis (MO) originally committed to Michigan on April 7, but wasn’t able to enroll because he didn’t have enough transferable credits.

The guard rose to fame for his role in leading North Carolina to the national championship game in 2022. Over the course of the 2022 NCAA Tournament, Love averaged 17.6 points, 2.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game. That included a 30-point game vs. UCLA in the Sweet Sixteen and 28-point game vs. rival Duke in the Final Four.
Love averaged 16.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for North Carolina in 2022-23.
The Tar Heels were ranked the preseason No. 1 team but ended up missing the NCAA Tournament.
Love was a five-star recruit and the No. 7 overall player in the class of 2020.
Arizona is adding three transfers in Love, Keshad Johnson (San Diego State) and Jaden Bradley (Alabama) along with two Class of 2023 recruits in Lithuanian big man Motiejus Krivas and wing KJ Lewis.
