The 7-foot-2, 260-pound Krivas will be playing his third season with the Wildcats, but the second was over in December. A foot injury initially suffered over the summer led to him being shut down after eight games and required surgery
Before then Krivas was averaging 7.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game, shooting 55.4 percent. He made one start, against Duke.
As a freshman, the Estonian native averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 12.1 minutes. He was expected to play a significant role in 2024-25, though his absence opened the door for center Henri Veesaar to emerge in Arizona’s frontcourt.
Veesaar ended up transferring to North Carolina, and fellow center Emmanuel Stephen transferred to UNLV.
Krivas joins Tobe Awaka as returners in the frontcourt, while guards Jaden Bradley and Anthony Dell’Orso are also coming back for another season.
The only undecided player is freshman forward Carter Bryant, a projected first round pick who has until April 26 to enter the 2025 NBA Draft.
