The NCAA transfer portal doesn’t officially open for another week but several Arizona Wildcats have already announced their intention to transfer.
Arizona running back Rayshon “Speedy” Luke is the top name so far to enter the portal. Luke made the announcement Tuesday evening on social media.

Luke appeared in four games as a junior before deciding to take a medical redshirt. The 5-foot-9 running back has 56 career carries for 271 yards and one touchdown.
Luke was a highly touted recruit coming out of St. John Bosco. However, injuries prevented him from ever hitting his stride in Tucson.
Other Arizona players to announce their intent to transfer include backup quarterback Brayden Dorman, tight end Dorian Thomas, defensive lineman Bryce Echols and receiver AJ Jones.
More announcements are sure to come in the days and weeks ahead.
One Arizona player who has not put his name in the portal is quarterback Noah Fifita. Rumors began to spiral on social media Tuesday that Fifita was transferring, but those close to the quarterback confirmed to multiple outlets that that’s not the case.
Fifita’s father told 247Sports that Fifita “wants to stay at Arizona and has no intention of entering the portal.”
247Sports reached out to Noah Fifita’s father, who told us the reports of Noah entering the transfer portal are untrue.

Keeping Fifita in Tucson would be the first big offseason win for coach Brent Brennan.
