Burries is the No. 11 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports rankings. The Eleanor Roosevelt High School (San Bernardino, Calif.) product is the No. 2 combo guard and No. 3 player in California.
If Burries commits to Arizona, the Wildcats’ 2025 recruiting class will move up to No. 4 in the 247Sports rankings, which would be the highest under coach Tommy Lloyd’s tenure and the program’s top ranked class since 2017, when Arizona’s class was ranked No. 3. That year Arizona signed 5-stars Deandre Ayton, Emmanuel Akot and Brandon Randolph.
Arizona’s 2025 class would rival any in program history. Along with Burries Arizona is bringing in 5-star guard Koa Peat, 5-star forward Dwayne Aristode, and 3-star wing Bryce James, the son of future NBA Hall of Famer LeBron James. Peat and Burries were both McDonald’s All-Americans.
Wherever Burries commits to, his decision will free up he Arizona coaching staff to add players from the transfer portal or internationally to fill up to the 2025-26 roster. Arizona is still awaiting a decision from freshman Carter Bryant to test the NBA Draft waters or return for another season.
