After three solid years at North Carolina, former five-star guard Caleb Love transferred to Arizona for the 2023-24 season and promptly emerged as the best player in the Pac-12. But with the 2024 NBA Draft looming, Love has to decide between going pro and returning to college for one more year.
On Wednesday, Love announced his decision. Taking to X with a video captioned “OneLove,” Love announced that he is returning to the Wildcats for one more season.
In the 2023-24 season, Love averaged 18.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game with a career-high 41.3-percent field goal percentage. And he did all of that while averaging few minutes per game than either of his previous two seasons at UNC.

Expectations will be very high for the Wildcats in the 2024-25 season now that Love is coming back. They’re already coming off a superb season that saw them go 27-9, winning the Pac-12 regular season title and reaching the Sweet 16.
With Love returning, another deep run in the NCAA Tournament could be in the cards.
Whether or not the Wildcats are able to adapt to their new, Big 12 environs remains to be seen though.
Will Caleb Love be a top player in the Big 12 next year?
