Four years ago Arizona football took a chance on an undersized quarterback out of Southern California. Few could have anticipated the return on investment of bringing Noah Fifita to Tucson.
The latest dividend is the commitment of his brother Dash Fifita, a linebacker in the class of 2026 who plays for Santa Margarita High School in Orange County.
Dash Fifita is listed at 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, the same size as his brother. His only other offer so far came from Sacramento State.

He becomes the third Arizona commit for the class of 2026.
Dash Fifita isn’t ranked by any major recruiting services, but he has built a reputation playing in the Trinity League, where last fall he won Orange County Register boys athlete of the week honors for recording 19 tackles and two forced fumbles in a loss to Orange Lutheran.
Dash Fifita was named Trinity League Defensive MVP and was an All-CIF First Team selection.
On the same day that Dash Fifita announced his commitment, Noah Fifita shared that he’s changing his jersey number to No. 1. He wore No. 11 first three seasons at Arizona.
Noah Fifita is taking after Arizona point guard Caleb Love, who changed his jersey number from No. 2 to No. 1 this season.
