Arizona fans who never got to give Kerr Kriisa a proper sendoff will have an opportunity to share their appreciation in person next year.
Kriisa announced Sunday he is transferring to Cincinnati, which will play a Big 12 conference game at McKale Center in 2025-26.

Kriisa joins the Bearcats after one injury-shortened season with Kentucky. The 6-foot-3 senior averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 assists with UK before going down with a foot injury he suffered in a Dec. 7 game against Gonzaga. Kriisa appeared in nine games with Kentucky, making one start.
Kriisa previously spent the 2023-24 season at West Virginia, where he averaged a career-high 11 points.
He is continuing his sojourn across the Ohio Valley by joining Wes Miller’s Bearcats program, which is coming off an underwhelming 19-16 season and 13th place finish in the Big 12.
Since Cincinnati hosted Arizona this season, the Bearcats will play at Tucson in the 2025-26 season, meaning Kriisa will get a final chance to play at McKale Center.
Kriisa joined Arizona in 2020-21 in what turned out to be Sean Miller’s final season. Kerr wasn’t cleared to play until February and appeared in eight games.
Over the next two seasons, Kriisa became a fan favorite in Tucson under coach Tommy Lloyd. The head-band wearing guard played with a firebrand personality, often riling up the opposing team and its fans.
Kriisa averaged 9.7 points as a sophomore and 9.9 points as a junior. He recorded a career-high 5.1 assists per game in 2022-23, which led the Pac-12. Kriisa became one of five players in Pac-12 history to record multiple triple-doubles in a career.
