etz had been working as a graduate manager for the UA baseball team, serving as an analyst to pitching coach Kevin Vance. He helped oversee a staff that has the best ERA in Big 12 play at 4.25.
From 2020-24 Netz was one of the most reliable arms for Arizona, appearing in 94 games which tied for second-most in school history. He had a career ERA of 3.98 and a WHIP of 1.18, striking out 130 batters in 131 innings.
Netz becomes the sixth member of Arizona’s 2024 team to sign a pro deal, all pitchers.
