Two-year starter for the Rainbow Warriors
Offensive line is the top priority for Arizona in the transfer portal, and so far it has done well to focus on that position. Nearly one-third of the acquisitions have been for the O-line including the latest, a veteran of the spread attack the Wildcats plan to use in 2025.
The UA has landed a commitment from former Hawaii offensive lineman Ka’ena Decambra, a 2-year starter for the Rainbow Warriors who has one season of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound Decambra started 23 games for Hawaii, the last 12 at left tackle after previously starting at guard. In 2024 he played 820 offensive snaps and allowed only three sacks on 602 pass plays.
Decambra’s pass blocking grade of 72.1 ranked 12th among FBS tackles who played at least 500 passing snaps.
Arizona’s 13 transfer additions, seven of which have committed since Friday, include four offensive linemen. The Wildcats have to replace at least three starters including tackle Jonah Savaiinaea, who declared for the 2025 NFL Draft and could go in the first round.
