Kylan Boswell, the No. 3-ranked point guard in the class of 2023 per 247Sports.com, announced he will reclassify into the Class of 2022 and attend Arizona beginning next season.
Boswell, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound guard from Compass Prep (AZ), chose Arizona over UNLV and Illinois in February.

“I feel that the program that best fits me is the University of Arizona,” he said then on CBS Sports HQ. “Their atmosphere at that program was wild, how involved their fans are with their basketball program is pretty insane to me.
“Since day one, I feel like I’ve been a family member to the coaches. They treated me like family, and then was really sold me was their sports performance program…They’re elite at what they do in their field and they can help develop my body to get to the next level.”
The reclass is a major coup for coach Tommy Lloyd and his staff.
“Coach Tommy Lloyd believes I can fit into his system and he believes in me,” he said. “A fast-paced transition offense, a lot of open space on ball screens, it feels like it’s something I can thrive in and I agree.”
Boswell, who models his game after NBA players like Steph Curry, Jrue Holiday and Trae Young, said his ultimate goal is to reach the NBA.
“Me and my dad have been working on everything that will help me get to the NBA, my leadership skills, communicating with my teammates on the floor,” he said. “Making better reads off the pick-and-roll, just everything that will help translate my game to the next level.”
