It looks like we can count the President of the United States among the many people whose brackets were totally busted on the first day of the NCAA Tournament.
Despite submitting his bracket to the public well after two games had already gotten under, President Joe Biden didn’t get any help from the extra time he had to review it. The seventh game of the tournament saw 15-seeded Princeton shock the world – and smash Biden’s bracket – when they beat 2-seeded Arizona.
President Biden had Arizona as his national championship winner, knocking off Kansas in the national championship game after beating Alabama in the Final Four.
Naturally, the President is taking his licks for being completely wrong right from the starting gate. Though in fairness, Arizona were a pretty popular pick.

Arizona reached the Sweet 16 last year and have won back-to-back Pac-12 Tournament titles over some pretty stiff opposition. They were 28-6 and the No. 8 team in the nation heading into March Madness.
But now all of the brackets that had Arizona winning anything – let alone the title – have been busted.
Villanova women’s basketball fans had better hope that Biden’s prediction isn’t a kiss of death. Otherwise they could be in trouble this week.
