The losing streak is over, as Arizona gets to spend the rest of its weekend basking in a 27-3 home win over Houston. It keeps alive the Wildcats’ faint hopes of making a bowl game, but just as important provides the opportunity to build confidence going toward next week’s road finale at TCU.
According to Pro Football Focus, Arizona graded out at 76.6 which would be its best performance since the second game of the 2024 season and third-best of the fall. Its run grade of 82.7 was tops for the season and the 79.6 coverage grade was also best for 2024.
The UA’s season grade is 78.1, which is tied for 91st out of 134 FBS teams. Next opponent TCU is 37th at 87.2.
