It will be the third start of spring for Nelson, having gone a total of 4.1 innings over his previous two outings. He has been solid, allowing one run on four hits, with two walks and four strikeouts. It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the pitching shapes up. Diaz has, it appears, been turning heads in the preseason, with two hits, two walks and four K’s over his 3.2 innings. He may not make the Opening Day roster, but I am beginning to think he might see action later in the year.
