Notes
Definitely some interesting moves above. A little surprised Jameson is down, but Mike Hazen did hint at that earlier in spring, saying, “I’m a little apprehensive of what the major league schedule requires relievers to do and I just want to make sure that when we ask him to do that we’re not putting him in harm’s way.” I imagine we will see him back up in the major before too long. The same probably goes for Lawlar: I wonder if there might be service time considerations there? This is an accusation with absolutely no evidence for it, I should stress, but he has posted an .898 OPS this spring. Meanwhile, today see Jordan Montgomery take the mound. I’m saying nothing more predictive than, “Let’s see…”
