Deja vu, all over again!
We reach the first elimination day of the post-season, and three out of four home teams dropped the wild-card opener, so need to win today if they are not to be eliminated. The big shock was probably the Mets, fresh off a double-header in Atlanta, flying into Milwaukee and bombing the Brewers again. Worse still, “The Brewers are the first team in MLB history to blow a multi-run lead and lose in 4 straight postseason games.” We’ll see how many of the higher seeds are still alive by the end of the day. My money is that at least one of the #3 or #4 will already be making tee reservations for the weekend.
