The ALDS reach Game 4, with Cleveland and Kansas City teetering
Yesterday saw the first elimination of the Division Series, the Phillies being sent packing after dropping three of four to the Mets. The Dodgers, sadly, did not suffer the same fate, and will reconvene in Los Angeles tomorrow. Over in the American side, we saw the Tigers and Yankees take the edge in their series, and a win for each today will clinch them moving on to the Championship Series. The Tigers have basically been doing it with one (1) starting pitcher in Tarik Skubal, but despite that, have won four of their five playoff games and allowed a total of only ten runs. It’s not conventional, but somewhere, World Series starter Joe Mantiply is nodding in approval…
