Dodgers To Sign Blake Snell To Five-Year Deal
The deal is a five-year pact that does not include any out-clauses for the oft-injured and erratic southpaw. The deal does, however, include $60 million in deferrals and a $52 million signing bonus. All told, the deal inks in at 5 years/$182 million. As an opening salvo, this is worrisome, as the Dodgers have made very clear their interest in Japanese hurler Roki Sasaki, who will cost them almost nothing up front to land.
