Arizona Diamondbacks land slugger to replace Christian Walker in deal with Guardians
“He’s a really good player,” Diamondbacks general manager Mike Hazen said. “We just think he’s going to be middle-of-the-order presence for us and really complement a lot of really good hitters in our lineup that can run and are going to get on base for him. I think he’s going to knock a lot of runs in next year.”

Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson, baseball’s stolen base king, has died at 65
“Rickey was simply the best player I ever played with. He could change the outcome of a game in so many ways,” said Don Mattingly, Henderson’s teammate with the New York Yankees from 1985-89. “It puts a smile on my face just thinking about him. I will miss my friend.”
