Corbin Burnes made his season debut for the Diamondbacks but was tagged for four runs in 4 1⁄3 innings. Beeks, Miller, and Martinez stopped the bleeding, which allowed the Diamondbacks the opportunity to mount a comeback, this one punctuated by a Geno Suarez grand slam in the eighth inning.
